The PASYFO system includes the PASYFO app and the pasyfo.eu website. The products were developed on the initiative of a group of researchers from Vilnius University, University of Latvia, Finnish Meteorological Institute and the Austrian Pollen Information Service. PASYFO was created as the use case of the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) for Lithuania and Latvia. Products’ development was supported by the European Commission-funded innovation project "AI-augmented ecosystem for Earth Observation data accessibility with Extended reality User Interfaces for Service and data exploitation (EO4EU)

The information provided through PASYFO shall in no way replace professional consultations or treatments by trained and recognised physicians. All services, offers, and deliveries provided on pasyfo.eu and through the PASYFO app are governed exclusively by the General Terms of Use and Data Privacy Statement (GTU). By accepting and/or using the services, the user agrees to the terms outlined in the.
Services
We provide all services in accordance with the existing technical, economic, operating and organisational options available. Therefore, we shall not be liable for any interruption, disturbance, delay, deletion, erroneous transmission, or memory failure related to the use of services and/or communication with the user.
The user understands that the services offered may also be provided by using third-party network operators. Therefore, their availability depends on the technical functionality of external network providers. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or performance of the services on the Internet. The user is aware that we have no influence on the availability of the internet access, transmission rate and availability of network connections and accesses.
We are entitled to temporarily interrupt the services for internal reasons, such as maintenance o service purposes. Temporary restrictions in the provision of the services may occur, in particular, due to force majeure, strikes, lockouts and administrative orders as well as technical upgrades of the facilities or other measures required for proper or improved operation (e.g., maintenance, repairs etc.). No claims can be made by users regarding these restrictions.
Users are entitled to use our services at their own risk and cost and agree to comply with all legal provisions, avoiding any misuse of services. Insofar as the services are provided free of charge, we reserve the right to provide them against payment at any time, following prior notification. In no event shall a claim for provision of free-of-charge services exist. Using the services shall not create a contractual relationship nor, in particular, a consultancy agreement. Consequently, no contractual or quasi-contractual claims can be made against us.
Data Privacy Statement
During registration, we collect and process the user's following personal data for providing and enhancing our services: sex, age group, month of birth, e-mail address, location and data on symptoms and discomforts. By registering and providing the above-mentioned personal data, you agree to our processing the data for the purposes specified. Any and all data entered by the user on pasyfo.eu and/or through the complaint monitor in the apps are anonymised, evaluated statistically and used for scientific purposes and service improvements.
Users benefit from indicating their location, which is necessary for using certain services to allocate the relevant regions and the prevailing conditions on-site to the user. This is the only way to provide meaningful and targeted information. However, the user may choose between indicating a zip code or mobile localisation. Location data is used exclusively for statistical evaluations and anonymised for scientific purposes.
We do not provide your personal data to third parties. We take all reasonable measures to protect personal data and information provided by the user from unauthorised third-party access. Your privacy and data security are of utmost importance to us.
Use of Our Mobile Services
In addition to our online services, we provide mobile apps to download on your mobile device. When downloading the app, the information required for that purpose is transmitted to the respective app store (e.g., Google Play, Apple Store). This includes: username, e-mail address, customer account number, time of download, payment information, if any, and the individual device identification number. However, we have no control over this data collection and are not responsible for it. The app collects and process the unique number of the end user device (IMEI = International Mobile Equipment Identity) to enable the app functions.
By using the services, you agree to the processing of data for the purposes specified. Data processing aims to enhance our services and support individuals suffering from pollen allergies. By providing your data, you contribute to valuable research and should be aware of that.
